Tantra Bensko: Lucid Fiction

                    

The idea that I am Tantra Bensko is false to begin with, when looked at from one perspetive. I We are each more than one human localized, chronological being.

At age 13, I learned to heal others, and realized the idea of human bodily consisteny and limitation is a fiction that can be manipulated by the mind and will power and skill. I later learned how to raise others' consciousness and Kundalini, which I did for numberous people. The Kundalini is the latent life force which all forms of yoga, including Tantra, are aiming to raise. When it happens, it is a very recognizable, physical occurance leading to vast improvements in the self. I wrote five spiritual books, including Divine Flying, and edited a magazine, called The Mendicant, for which I wote many articles, all published by Taraka Serrano's Laugh of God Press.

I took classes in Touch for Health, and learned Jin Shin Do, reflexology, nutrition and herbalism, was practiced at the art of energeti healing, and am a holistic healer.

I was the illustrator, and a writer, for the magazine MKzine. I have used my art, articles, and short stories to aid in disseminating information about the manipulation in general by those in power throughout history.

I feel it is important to create beauty in this world I am predominantly a whimsial, playful person. I have made many art films with my own art, and colaborated in many more with Paul Wilm, comedy, surreal movies with www.Forkitude.com.

My art is well published in this country and many others, and my solo show, called Reality Burn! is touring through Spain.

I am the art director of the multimedia magazine, www.madhattersreview.com.

I have a B.A. and M.A. in English, and an M.F.A. in writing, from Iowa. I taught writing in three Universities, and have published widely in literary journals. I'm sparsely keeping up my syndicated blog, http://bayarealucid.blogspot.com/, about alternative culture in my area.

I like to run around in absurd costumes.
